Our client is one of the largest sign and visual communication companies in the world. They are looking for a Senior Indirect Tax Analyst who provides comprehensive review and analysis of consolidated financial statements and financial management reporting for both the U.S. and Canada, as well as assists on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and cash requirements when necessary.About the Opportunity

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales/use tax returns, including GST/HST, QST, and PST filings with all applicable schedules
• Supervise the preparation of US sales and use tax returns, as well as Business Tangible Personal Property Tax Returns
• Review general ledger account reconciliations related to indirect tax liability accounts, including input/output tax accounts and business personal property tax liability accounts
• Maintain a thorough understanding of indirect tax liabilities associated with the Company’s goods and services
• Review monthly journal entries and accruals for Canadian tax accounts and various U.S. state tax accounts
• Apply solid knowledge of Canadian commodity tax
• Demonstrate working knowledge of US Sales & Use tax

About You

• Accounting Diploma or Certificate; accounting designation considered an asset
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Direct experience with US personal property tax compliance
• Strong foundation in accounting and US tax compliance
