Our integrated technology enables product managers, and developers the flexibility and speed to build innovative financial products.The OpportunityVoPay has the immediate need for a “Rock Star” Sr Financial Analyst – FP&A on a contract basis (with the potential to become full-time) to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing both financial and non-financial data, developing financial models, preparing reports, and leading the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long term projections. You will work closely with all departments in VoPay to provide meaningful business performance analysis to support decision making, target setting, and the drivers for financial outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast paced and nimble organization providing senior management with the analytics, insights, and decision making support to help VoPay execute on its strategies.About You:As the successful candidate, you are a data-driven decision maker who is energized by the idea of diving into large data sets seeking to find the drivers for business performance and untapped insights that will drive measurable improvements in the financial performance of the company. You couple this with excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating an ability to understand what is important to your audience, and tailoring your message in a simplified and easily digestible fashion. Lastly, your technical skills will stand out among your peers, with an innate ability to use tools such as Excel, Sheets, and PowerPoint to convey information that quickly focuses the recipients on what truly is important.Responsibilities

  • Work with the executive team to develop KPI’s (financial and non-financial) to measure business performance and contribute to target setting.
  • Create and maintain budget and forecasting models (including a full set of financial statements) to support target setting and decision making.
  • Manage the processes pertaining to the annual budget and multi-year projections.
  • Provide ROI analysis on strategic opportunities and present findings to relevant parties.
  • Use financial and non-financial data to derive insights and present findings to the executive team.
  • Review year-to-date performance and provide analysis on drivers for change month over month, and any deviations to the budget / forecast.
  • Support HR in calculating commissions for Sales team and partner accounts.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Currently in the later stages of attaining a CPA or CFA designation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience creating financial models and budgets / forecasts for a multi-entity organization.
  • Ability to interpret and prepare a full set of financial statements.
  • Expert level Excel and / or G-Sheets skills.
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL and managing diverse data sets in a data warehouse tool.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Pluses include:
  • Experience with QuickBooks.
  • Understanding of consolidating multi-currency financial statements.
  • Experience preparing presentations suitable for executive team and board of directors.
