They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our client.Contract Period: 6 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $45 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid; 2 days onsite per week
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5 PMJob Responsibilities:

Essential to support a general ledger project with an emphasis on ensuring that the reporting hierarchies in S4/HANA are accurate for future reporting purposes.
Responsible for mapping and analyzing hierarchies within S/4 HANA against existing hierarchies used for financial and regulatory reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP.
Expected to make recommendations at the general ledger account level for alignment and work with a broad set of stakeholders.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

5-7 years of consolidated reporting at large Fis (primarily banks) or regulatory reporting to CIRO (Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization / OSFI (Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions)
Experience within large financial institutions – Background in Accounting (reporting end)
Confident working with large reporting hierarchies comprising of thousands of GL accounts
Financial product knowledge, such as types of loans and deposits
Stakeholder management
