Job description: Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our client.Contract Period: 6 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $45 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid; 2 days onsite per week
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5 PMJob Responsibilities:

• Essential to support a general ledger project with an emphasis on ensuring that the reporting hierarchies in S4/HANA are accurate for future reporting purposes.
• Responsible for mapping and analyzing hierarchies within S/4 HANA against existing hierarchies used for financial and regulatory reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP.
• Expected to make recommendations at the general ledger account level for alignment and work with a broad set of stakeholders.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• 5-7 years of consolidated reporting at large Fis (primarily banks) or regulatory reporting to CIRO (Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization / OSFI (Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions)
• Experience within large financial institutions – Background in Accounting (reporting end)
• Confident working with large reporting hierarchies comprising of thousands of GL accounts
• Financial product knowledge, such as types of loans and deposits
• Stakeholder management
