Job description: A well-established Non For Profit Organisation in Dublin 12 is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This is a key role reporting directly to the Financial Controller, with responsibility for delivering high-quality financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting the development of finance processes and controls.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage annual budgets, ensuring compliance with internal policies and deadlines
• Produce monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and supporting schedules
• Lead regular forecasting processes and financial modelling
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of audits
• Identify and implement process improvements within financial operations
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Provide line management and support to junior finance team members

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualified experience in a senior finance role
• Strong analytical, reporting, and Excel modelling skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience in large or complex finance functions with tight reporting deadlines
