About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. You
will have responsibility for day-to-day accounting operations for the finance function, including
maintenance of accurate financial records, financial reporting, tax compliance, and risk management
& controls.
This is a key role in supporting the financial health and integrity of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
● Responsible for managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations, acting as the main
point of contact for outsourced finance activities and other intercompany partners
● Manage the monthly and quarterly close process and related Group reporting
● Ownership of general ledger reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are
accurately recorded
● Maintain robust financial controls and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
● Own and develop financial systems, and processes with a focus on continuous improvement
● Partner with the Commercial Finance team on the annual budgeting process; acting as a
trusted and visible point of contact to the key functional leads
● Lead the preparation of annual financial statements, liaising with external auditors in a timely
and efficient manner
● Responsible for ensuring all statutory, tax and other compliance returns are completed on
time
● Manage the annual entity-level controls SOX program
● Review of fortnightly/monthly payroll, partnering with our HR team and outsourced payroll
advisors
● Support cash flow management
● Other areas of responsibility – project work, IDA Grant, RDTC
Requirements
Education and Experience
● ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
● 4+ years PQE working in fast-growing companies, ideally within the technology or media
space
Skills and Competencies
● Strong understanding of US GAAP and FRS102
● Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite)
● Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
● Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams.
● Ambitious, independent and adaptable worker with strong business acumen
● Results-oriented, with proven ability to prioritise and deliver quality work in a challenging,
