We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to manage financial reporting processes, compliance, and month-end procedures. This role is integral to maintaining financial integrity, supporting audits, and driving process improvements. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will collaborate with key stakeholders across the business.Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with AASB and IFRS.
• Oversee general ledger functions, ensuring accuracy in journal entries, reconciliations, and account adjustments.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulations.
• Assist in tax return preparation and liaise with external tax consultants.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and automation in financial operations.

The Candidate

• CA/CPA qualified with 3-6 years of experience
• Strong understanding of reconciliations and financial reporting standards.
• Experience handling large transaction data, with proficiency in Excel, Access, SQL, or Python.
• Audit background desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
