Job description: We have an opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to join the Group Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team on a permanent basis in Sydney.Reporting to the Group Head of FP&A, the Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for the operational management of a best-in-class management reporting function to support decision making and drive business performance.This will include both hands-on delivery as well as management of Group-wide management reporting, the Annual Business Plan, the biannual external reporting of relevant market information, as well production of ad hoc analysis and insights in response to business requests and priorities.This is a dynamic and fast paced role where your talent will be valued in a highly cohesive team environment.As Senior Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include:Ownership of the consolidation, analysis and reporting on a monthly basis with a focus on communicating insights into key business drivers. This includes both the management of FP&A team members as well as direct involvement in preparation of key reporting submissions.Involvement in the annual Business Plan process, in particular preparation of the Group’s five year Operational PlanInvolvement in half-yearly external financial reporting, including collaboration and support for the Investor Relations team with managing the process to capture and provide consolidated financial metrics and assistance with investor and analyst queriesAd hoc financial analysis and insights in response to requests from senior leaders (including Group CEO, CFO and the Corporate Leadership Team), focused on timely and insightful communication of metrics, drivers and scenariosEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the Group’s operating businesses and functional teams (eg. Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, People and Culture, ICT) in order to deliver on reporting and analysis objectivesAlignment of management reporting processes to Group initiativesSupport the application of consistent and applicable accounting standards and policies to management reporting financialsEstablish and maintain an excellent working knowledge of group system functionality and architecture, and take ownership for integrity of system data and reportsProvide coaching and guidance to FP&A team membersTo see success, you will bring –Demonstrated experience in Management Reporting and/or Financial Planning and AnalysisCA/CPA qualified along with strong current technical accounting knowledgeCorporate Finance industry experienceExcellent working knowledge of financial systems, in particular TM1, and ExcelStrong stakeholder engagement, influencing and partnership skillsA strong work ethic, willing to be hands-on and focused on maintaining positive relationships in order to meet deadlines and deliver quality financial insights.An understanding of the Investment Management, Property Development, and/or Construction industries will be highly regardedIf you feel this position is suited to your skills, experience, and career aspirations, please apply on the link now.Applications Close: 21st November 2024At Lendlease we offer workplaces that unite diverse minds; where respect, equitable treatment and equitable opportunity are just the norm.
