Tēnei tūranga – About the Role:The Senior Finance Business Analyst reports to the Head of Finance Business Partnering. The Senior Finance Business Analyst will support a customer-centric approach and work closely with Finance Business partners in the Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery Business Group to provide high quality reporting and analysis on the numbers, and be able to clearly communicate, influence and support the needs, goals and requirements of decision makers.The Finance Business Partnering team sits within Corporate & Digital Shared Service Business Group and works in partnership with business groups, supporting them to deliver their services effectively and efficiently, allowing the Ministry to achieve its outcomes. The Finance Business Partnering branch is also the conduit between Finance and Performance and the business groups.In this role you will bring experience to deliver high quality accounting services and identify relevant insights that highlight inefficiencies and opportunities. Your analytical, reporting and organisational skills will enable you to engage with the business to provide meaningful insights. This will be complemented by your accounting skills and attention to detail.Supported by the finance business partners, you will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on financial matters.Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana – Skills and Experience Required
