Together let’s redefine retirement living for senior Australians.The OpportunityReporting directly to the Group Manager Corporate Finance, this role will conduct financial analysis and other workstreams within the Corporate Finance team to support the quarterly valuation process, acquisition and divestments, strategic and business development projects, as well as provide financial analysis and insights to Aveo’s sales and marketing functions.What we offer

You will
- Maintain, update and modify as needed internal valuation and forecast models
- Coordinate valuation workstreams to produce a valuation of the Aveo portfolio for financial reporting purposes at each quarter reporting date
- Prepare necessary outputs into board papers, reports and other finance teams
- Develop financial models to assess impact of corporate/strategic initiatives
- Interpret results and prepare materials to present the business case behind each initiative
- Produce required reporting and tracking against budget as needed on key business value drivers
- Work on long term business value improvement projects
- Work on improvement of current team processes and models
- Develop sales forecasts and budgets
- Provide financial insights to Aveo’s sales and marketing functions
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrated experience in finance roles with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Degree in Business or Commerce, or equivalent work experience
- CA, CFA, CPA or other professional qualification (desired)
- Strong knowledge of excel and excel-based financial modelling
- Analytical mindset, able to interpret financial insights rapidly
- Ability to analyse information, understand its impact on value assess the outcomes
- Ability to concisely communicate these outcomes both verbally and in written/presentation form
- Ability to manage, review work from and train junior team members
- Ability to work with other teams within the business and communicate in an effective manner
- Attention to detail
- Self-start on workstreams based on understanding of required outputs from the team to other stakeholders
