Job description: Job Title Senior Executive, Business Planning & Projects Reports To Assistant Manager, Finance & Business Planning Role Purpose This position will support the planning and execution of strategic initiatives to enhance the airline’s loyalty programme. This role will assist in analysing business performance, coordinating cross-functional projects, and driving operational improvements to deliver value to both customers and partners. The position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills who can thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to align business objectives, innovate member experiences, and ensure the loyalty programme remains a competitive differentiator in the airline industry within the region and across the globe. Key Accountability Develop and update business plans to align with the loyalty division’s objectives. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends. Support project managers in the execution of loyalty program initiatives Track project progress, prepare status reports, and ensure timelines and deliverables are met. Analyze program performance metrics and provide actionable insights Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses for loyalty division and its projects. Collaborate with finance and business teams to ensure alignment with business goals. Liaise with internal teams (e.g., marketing, IT, and operations) and external partners to facilitate project delivery. Ensure clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders. Qualifications & Working Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in business planning, project coordination, or loyalty program operations. Experience in travel industry & airline loyalty programmes is a plus. Certifications in Project Management (e.g., CAPM, PMP, Agile Fundamentals) are a plus. Areas of Experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. Exposure to strategic business planning, loyalty program management or customer engagement strategies. Experience with data analysis, reporting, and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, or BI tools). Basic understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Personality Traits Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail while ensuring accuracy and quality. Skilled in time management and prioritizing tasks effectively. Quick to learn new concepts and adapt to changing business priorities. Eager to identify challenges / gaps and propose practical solutions. Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision, independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to present ideas and recommendations clearly and concisely.
