• Following Ministry processes to assess regulatory framework when licensing new services, change of management, licensing assessments, complaint or incident investigation, identify non-compliant and gather evidence and make recommendations.
• Working in a collaborative way with key stakeholders to provide timely, accurate, quality implementation advice and support, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and obligations.
• Supporting the ECE team to provide high quality service to the sector, the Ministry and Government.

Salary range: $84,425 – $91,563 per annum + 3% kiwisaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary based on their individual skills and experience.For more details about the role, you can view the .We also offer:

About you | Mōhou akeTo be successful in this role you will have the following capabilities and competencies:

• A tertiary qualification in early childhood education or other relevant discipline.
• Understanding of early learning services, early childhood curriculum and licensing criteria for early learning services.
• The ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tirirti o Waitangi and tangata whenuatanga
• A full driver licence
• Be part of part of a diverse and friendly integrated team where full support and training is given to be successful in your role, with a supportive manager and team.
