What this means for you is the opportunity to be a part of delivering innovative solutions and helping to solve real business problems for a wide variety of valued clients.The Oracle Database Senior Specialist will provide technical consulting and managed services to a wide range of customers locally in Australia and New Zealand as a key member of our Database practice.Key Responsibilities:Develop Technical Architecture Solutions to meet client requirementsDesign and build specific database environments to meet business requirementsPre-sales consultancy for a wide range of Exadata and Oracle Database customersMentoring DBA team members and providing Guidance and knowledge transfer in alignment with industry best practicesProvide Managed Services support and act as a Lead Support consultantOptimise, fine-tune, fit for purpose our managed services operations while applying knowledge of customer’s businessAssist in solving technical and performance problemsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceExcellent technical design skills across database, infrastructure and OCI10+ years of experience with implementations, upgrades, conversions and consolidation projects with Oracle databasesStrong experience with Oracle database ranging from 10g through to 19c across UNIX/Linux and Windows platformsExperience administering Oracle database on ExadataStrong command administering database security, data recovery, performance monitoring and tuningProficient in writing and optimising SQL statementsExcellent management, stakeholder engagement, and technical communication skillsHighly desirable skills:Experience with SSO and E-Business Suite 11i / R12 would be highly desirable;Experience with administering Oracle databases on PaaS environments;Experience with administering databases on Exadata Cloud at CustomerYour working environmentIn alignment with our commitment to fostering a flexible and dynamic work environment, we have adopted a hybrid working approach that acknowledges the importance of in-person collaboration while recognising that the determination of your work location will be based on a range of factors to ensure both individual preferences and operational requirements are met.
