In your role, you are pivotal in driving the clean-up and migration of customer, account, and entitlement data from legacy systems to new systems, ensuring data integrity and alignment with best practices. You will bring your expertise in data management, strategic planning, and data analysis with projects involving data migration.What You Will DoData Strategy and Analysis:Analyze subscription data in our current legacy systems and how transactional and entitlement data is being storedDevelop a data migration strategy how to migrate the transactional subscription data from our Oracle ERP system into a new SalesForce instancePlan the entitlement data migration into a new entitlement management systemProvide recommendations for a successful migration processDevelop and implement data strategies to support business objectivesDrive and support the creation of dashboards to generate stakeholder defined insightsPerform detailed data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvementData Migration and Clean-Up:Facilitate the clean-up and validation of data from legacy systems in preparation of the migrationPrepare underlying data for migration to the new systemsUncover and resolve data incompatibility issuesInvestigate enrichment opportunitiesIdentify or develop tools to help with the migrationHelp validate the results after the migration and make sure the data is correctCollaboration and Communication:Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and identify solutionsAssist with data challenges and projects from stakeholders and come up with recommendations and solutions by identifying, combining and manipulating dataset from various sourcesAnalyze the data around business processes and make recommendations on how to optimize current business flowsCommunicate data findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable mannerDatabase Management:Ensure new databases are set up to align with industry best practicesCollaborate with IS and database administrators to optimize database performance and integrityData Governance and Quality:Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.Conduct regular data quality assessments and implement corrective actions as needed.Assist in other data review and clean-up activities across the team.What Skills & Experience You Should BringBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldProven experience in data management, data migration, and database setupStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data setsProficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau)Experience in DOMO, SalesForce and OracleExcellent communication and presentation skillsExcellent organizational skillsStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailKnowledge of data governance and data quality best practicesWhat Skills & Experience You Could BringExperience in subscription data and insightsFamiliarity with cloud-based data storage solutionsCertification in data management or data analysisAbout Your LocationOur office in Christchurch, New Zealand (handily located on the Little River Link Cycleway), is the engineering center in our region and home to over 380 staff, offering free parking, an onsite fully featured gym, changing rooms & showers, table tennis, an active social club, and a great team environment where people love working with leading technology solutions.Being located in the office provides opportunities to learn from and collaborate with many like-minded individuals from across the company.
