Our global team of finance professionals partner with the business to provide trusted insights and forward looking analysis; accuracy; efficiency and control to frame and influence business decisions.We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Cost Analyst – Global Finance.Principal Responsibilities

  • Support the WCOO/ CMB Cost team on a plethora of cost activities to manage the WCOO direct and GCMB indirect cost base, including reporting, forecasting, planning, analysis and commentaries to provide senior management an understanding of expenditure
  • Working with the Pillars, Regional cost and finance teams of WCOO to develop consistency of cost reporting and analysis across the business
  • Engaging with global and regional business finance teams to ensure that WCOO business cost performance and CMB indirects costs are accurately tracked and reported against the agreed targets. Ensuring that drivers of costs that are allocated to the business are understood, monitored, controlled and accurately reported on a regular basis
  • Manage monthly/quarterly forecasting of WCOO costs to identify challenges in meeting targets, foresee potential cost issues as well as opportunities
  • Support across other WCOO / GCMB Finance responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • Good understanding of key internal and external performance metrics, particularly around cost but also understanding how cost interacts with other performance metrics. Experience of financial planning and forecasting
  • Willingness to learn about WCOO and CMB business, and the market and competitor dynamics impact the business. Applying this knowledge to articulating financial performance and planning and forecasting outcomes
  • Good understanding of key accounting concepts
  • Strong understanding of key performance reporting system capabilities, notably TM1
