KPMG has an exciting opportunity for a data-driven specialist to join our Financial Services Advisory team, where you’ll help our clients meet the increasing demands for data governance and regulatory compliance.About the Position
As our new colleague, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Lead projects focusing on data management, data governance, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Design and implement robust data management solutions supporting credit and market risk models, ensuring data quality and consistency across large organizations.
• Provide strategic consulting to financial sector clients on data standards and compliance requirements.
• Develop and validate credit and risk models with a focus on regulatory compliance and data-driven risk assessment.

Your Profile
The ideal candidate is skilled in data management and passionate about ensuring high data quality and compliance within complex financial environments. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A master’s degree or PhD in a data-related field, such as Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Data Science.
• 2-5 years of experience in data management, data analysis, or compliance, preferably with a focus on BCBS 239 or similar regulatory requirements within a financial institution, consultancy, or regulatory role.
• Programming skills in Python, R, SAS, and SQL or similar.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data-related topics clearly and effectively in both verbal and written English.
