Posting Date: 2025-06-04Webbe InternationalSenior Compliance Specialist – Webbe InternationalWe are seeking a Senior Compliance Officer for our private credit fund based in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will possess strong compliance and regulatory knowledge, ideally with experience in the SFC and/or Cayman Islands. This role is critical in ensuring our compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance: Ensure the fund adheres to all local regulations, including SFC requirements.
Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
Monitoring & Reporting: Conduct regular compliance monitoring and prepare reports for senior management.
Training: Provide compliance training to staff to foster a culture of compliance within the organization.
Risk Management: Identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with regulators and external auditors as needed.
Transaction Oversight: Review and approve transactions to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and ensure proper documentation is in place.
QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 5 years in a compliance role, preferably within private equity or credit funds.
Educational Background: Degree in law, finance, or a related field.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands.
Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Languages: Proficient in spoken and written English.
