Job description: A highly regarded business responsible for delivering landmark projects across Queensland is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Commercial Analyst. This exceptional role will combine business partnering with senior leaders whilst also engaged in due diligence and strategic review of acquisition targets.Responsibilities will include:Provide commercial reporting, analytics, insights and support to inform commercial business decisions.Provide comprehensive financial due diligence across various strategic initiatives, which includes potential growth opportunities both internally (organically) and externally (acquisitions).Understand business requirements and develop accurate, engaging, and focused reports and dashboards.Continuously drive improvements in reporting and analytics.Understand, validate, and challenge (when required) financial reporting to ensure accuracy.Partner with and influence stakeholders on commercial decision making and develop initiatives to improve visibility and accountability of commercial outcomes.Undertake 3 way forecast cash flow modelling including ownership and review of the respective inputs.Cash Flow monitoring and detailed analysis of capital allocation and ROI.Your background and experience:A high level of commercial acumen demostrated in a large scale or complex organisationHigh level financial modelling skillsPrior experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions will be very highly regardedAbility to engage and influence senior leaders across the businessCA, CFA or CPA qualifications preferred.In this outstanding role you will work with an exceptional group of leaders to genuinely impact business performance. Expected salary: $140000 per year
