Job description: Job Description:Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the worldWood is recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible:

• Prepare, check or approve Civil Engineering deliverables.
• Perform Design Methodology/Concepts of complete building elements and Oil & Gas equipment including Dynamics, Earthquake, Infrastructural facilities, Drainage, Sewer systems etc.
• Carry out appropriate discipline and inter-discipline checks and reviews of engineering and design work.

Position is based in Oman for a long-term assignment.Responsibilities:The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible:

• Execute technical work for FEED+DD within designated Cost Time & Resource (CTR) scopes.

• Prepare, check or approve Civil Engineering deliverables.

• Perform Design Methodology/Concepts of complete building elements and Oil & Gas equipment including Dynamics, Earthquake, Infrastructural facilities, Drainage, Sewer systems etc.

• Carry out appropriate discipline and inter-discipline checks and reviews of engineering and design work.

• Implement, practice and Monitor Quality Management System (QMS) in FEED office projects in line with ISO 9001-2015 and APIQ2 2ndedition requirements

• Support quality assurance and HSE compliance audits for civil projects and reviews in accordance with Project requirements.

• To execute and maintain work within allocated man hours and ensure that other co- workers assigned to the project are adhering to the agreed CTR.

• To seek all specialist engineering support and advice to meet the required safety and environmental standards.

• To maintain technical integrity and flag any deviations to PDO standards are formally communicated to the relevant CFDH.

• To explore cost reduction opportunities wherever appropriate.

• To keep abreast of technical development and progress in the oil/gas industry.

• Mentor graduate engineers to fulfill development objectives

• University Graduate in Civil Engineering discipline with minimum 15 years experience.

• 6 years experience in Engineering Design in Oil/Gas industry

• In depth knowledge of civil related work.

• Practical experience in all civil engineering relevant disciplines.
