Job description: Key Responsibilities: * Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and new markets.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
  • Business Development Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Set and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Client Acquisition and Retention:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Financial Management:
  • Manage and monitor the business development budget.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Partnerships and Alliances:
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances to expand the company’s reach and capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, with a proven track record of success in the Facility Management industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements related to facility management.
  • A strong network within the Facility Management industry in Hong Kong.

Key Skills Required:

  • Market Analysis: The ability to analyse market trends, competitors, and potential customers to identify new business opportunities.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Strong sales skills to persuade potential clients, and excellent negotiation skills to reach favourable contract terms.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure customer satisfaction and promote repeat business and referrals.
  • Leadership Skills: Motivating and guiding team members, setting goals, and providing feedback to facilitate the growth and development of team members.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members, clients, and partners, both in writing and verbally.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and executing business development strategies to achieve the company’s long-term goals.
  • Teamwork: Working effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues from different departments and levels.
  • Innovative Thinking: Thinking creatively about new business opportunities and solutions to address market changes and challenges.
  • Adaptability: Being able to adapt to changing market conditions and company strategies, and flexibly adjusting business development plans.
  • Financial Knowledge: Understanding financial statements and budget management to effectively control costs and improve profitability.
  • Networking: Building a broad network of contacts within the industry, which helps in obtaining information, resources, and potential partners.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to quickly find solutions to challenges to continue business operations with minimal impact.
