Tēnei tūranga – About the Role:MBIE is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with excellent data analysis and relationship building skills to work closely with the Head of Emergency Management and Business Continuity on an ambitious work programme.The Senior Business Analyst EMBC is a specialist position in MBIE. In partnership with the Head of Emergency Management and Business Continuity, you’ll be responsible for providing strategic and operational advice on EMBC data, insights, and reporting related matters across MBIE.Your ability to establish positive, consultative style working relationships with people at all levels is a key success factor for this role. Together with senior leaders and operational delivery teams, you’ll facilitate the process of analysis and reporting on the Ministry’s incident, emergency, and business continuity management arrangements. Being able to critically assess and provide credible suggestions is key in this element of the role. The ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and build people capability to respond is also important.The Emergency Management and Business Continuity team is an adaptable positive team, this team prides itself on creating a supportive environment for learning and celebrating achievements.
