Job description: OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Ecommerce-B2B to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of business processes, and technical expertise in IT solutions, and eCommerce platforms. This role requires working closely with international clients, internal teams, and technical resources to ensure seamless solution implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into technical requirements.
  • Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, document business processes, and create functional and technical specifications.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and technology solutions.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts to drive successful project execution.

Ecommerce-B2B & API Integration

  • Provide strategic insights on B2B eCommerce solutions, including pricing models, customer segmentation, and order workflows e.t.c.
  • Have an understanding of APIs, including RESTful and SOAP APIs, for system integrations (e.g., ERP, CRM, Payment Gateways).
  • Work with development teams to define API requirements, ensure proper data flow, and troubleshoot integration issues.

Technical Documentation & Process Optimization

  • Utilize business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) to map out workflows and suggest improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within eCommerce and B2B operations.

Software Development & Agile Practices

  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases for Agile teams.
  • Assist in system testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and ensure quality assurance standards are met before deployment.

Change Management & Post-Implementation Support

  • Act as a change enabler, helping businesses adapt to new technologies and process improvements.
  • Provide post-implementation support, ensuring smooth adoption of IT solutions.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6 – 8 years of experience in Business Analysis, with at least 4-5 years in IT technical documentation.
  • Proven experience in B2B eCommerce, APIs, and/or enterprise technology solutions.
  • Strong background in international client communication, preferably in the North American market.
  • Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, SAP Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce).
  • Expertise in API integration, ERP/CRM systems, and process automation.
  • Proficiency in business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certifications are preferred.

  • Multitasking and time management – Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
