We are an entrepreneurial business solving problems in the utility industry and we are currently going through an exciting phase of rapid growth against a backdrop of considerable change within the sector.As a Senior Billing Administrator, you will be part of a small team reporting to the Billing Manager and responsible for administration of our billing service. This includes producing regular monthly billing for residents, corporate customers and commercial tenants as well as supporting first and final billing and re-billing on occasion. The successful candidate will be responsible for general billing administration including reconciliation of resident lists provided by clients and billing exception management.What will you be doing?
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our billing processes and a point of escalation for team members
- Managing exceptions and failures to ensure accurate billing
- Monthly retrieval of remotely accessed meter reads and upload into the billing system, creating accurate estimated meter readings where required
- Generating batches of invoices, analysing the costs against previous periods, identifying and reviewing anomalies
- Monthly reconciliation of billing data with the site resident logs
- Liaising with Mobilisation and Engagement and Customer Success teams to resolve complex queries and support on and offboarding of sites
- Supporting the Billing Operations Manager in conducting monthly quality checks and feeding back any findings
- Resolving complex issues or complaints to support other Operational teams
- Attending relevant site visits, conducting face to face meetings with residents, resolving any queries and complaints in a professional manner

- You will have demonstrable account billing experience
- An advanced user in excel (e.g. vlookups, IF functions along with basic formulas)
- An analytical eye to be able to spot errors/trends in data
- You can challenge the status quo and process and provide potential solutions in a constructive way
- Strong IT and numerical skills
- You have a clear, professional and informative communication style
- Excellent attention to detail
