This is what #LifeAtBNY is all about.We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Quality Assurance and Control Testing Team Lead – Sanctions and Financial Crimes to join our Global Payments and Treasury Services Operations team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA, and will work a Hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office required).In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead a team of QA analysts, providing guidance and support, and ensuring compliance with business requirements
- Ensure adherence to defined deadlines and quality standards within the assigned team
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, promoting continuous improvement and professional development
- Conduct thorough four eye reviews of work completed by new hires as part of the 100% new hire quality assurance process
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to new hires to facilitate their growth and development
- Collaborate with the QA Manager to convey feedback on the team’s performance and proactively remediate issues
- Support QA teams by conducting QA reviews of sanctions operations L1 and L2 alert dispositions for static and transactional sanctions hits
- Evaluate and review alert dispositions for static and transactional sanctions hits handled by Level 1 and Level 2 analysts
- Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- 3-5 years of total work experience preferred
- Financial crime-related alert review experience (with a preference for sanctions alerts) or testing/QA experience highly preferred
- Effective communication skills both verbal and non-verbal to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work across organizational lines and proactively problem solve with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time management skills
- Project management experience with proven ability to oversee multiple team members simultaneously
- Ability to self-manage workload and goals independently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven organization
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency using vendor management and risk management software or tools is a plus
