This includes serving as a member of the portfolio administration reconciliation team, as the lead associate responsible for claims management. The Analyst acts as a main point of contact for internal and external business partners for all aspects of the claims phase of the trade life cycle. The individual in this role is knowledgeable in operational support requirements, fixed income products, international markets and industry claims procedures.What you can expectDaily support and technical support of the Claims management (including broker and custodian claims, factor coupon update collection, TMPG) and related operations and reporting.Possess working knowledge of custody and cash operations, preferably Fixed Income, including familiarity with global settlements and impact to cash balance reporting.Facilitating claim flow processes and ensuring external parties are claimed within industry guideline (ie ISITC, TMPG claims procedures)Support the claims identification and investigation process. and effectively resolve charges impacting Fixed Income clientsServing as primary liaison between the internal operations team and external custodian banks and counterparties (broker dealers)Support local projects and enhancement initiatives for the teamProviding timely resolution to operational issues raised by critical business partnersDeveloping and monitoring daily claim status reports including weekly and aged claims dataGathering and/or analyzing key metrics with regards to activityHelp maintain departmental policies, guidelines and proceduresHelp mitigate risk and enhance controlsProactively seeking ways to improve current processes by leveraging the tools available to identify inefficiencies.Cultivating both internal and external relationships to ensure proper service levels are achieved for each fund supportedWhat you will bringExperience in Operational role or Finance industryBachelors degree in Finance, Business, Commerce or relevant areasStrong knowledge of global markets, trade lifecycle and industry technologySolid understanding of application of business risk & operational controlsEnjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environmentAble to multi-task and absorb information across a broad spectrum of productsAbility to organize, prioritize tasks and work in a deadline oriented environmentStrong communication skills (written & verbal)Solid understanding of application of business risk & operational controlsWhat will set you apart?Experience in Fixed Income ClaimsSkills in: Excel, V-LookUp, Pivot Tables*PGIM welcomes all applicants, even if you don’t meet every requirement.
