Job description: Are you a Senior Appian Developer with experience building workflows and solutions on the Appian platform? Our BC finance client is looking for someone with the skillset for an initial 6 months with the option to with an option to extend the contract term by two periods of 6 months.Advantages

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Innovate, design, and deliver solutions on the Appian platform with high reliability, resiliency, scalability, and intuitive user interfaces
  • Solve unique problems that have a broad impact and deliver business value
  • Operate as a hands-on technologist and deliver within the team as an individual developer, coach, and mentor
  • Implement and share knowledge of best practices on the Appian platform in the areas of development, release, testing, and configuration
  • Participate in the delivery of projects of varying size and scope
  • Employs a pragmatic approach in order to balance tactical and strategic concerns when solving problems
  • Makes decisions that are aligned with the firm’s broader business and technology strategy

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have:

  • 6+ years of experience building workflows and solutions on the Appian platform
  • Appian Level 2 or Level 3 certification (Level 3 preferred)
  • Experience working in a Microsoft on-premise and / or cloud (Azure) environment
  • Solid understanding of one or more relational database technologies and their application (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Experience operating within an Agile environment to deliver software increments in an adaptive and iterative manner
  • Strong analytical skills; experience working with and analyzing large and complex data sets
  • Proficiency in coding; validated interest in translating algorithms and models into production quality code
  • Strong understanding of testing approaches with a focus on performance and accuracy
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Flexible and client-service oriented
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment

Expected salary: $52.58 – 65.73 per hour
