Position Title: Risk Assessment Senior Analyst

Location: BangaloreJob ProfilePurpose of Role:
- Specifically, accountability for the following named departments, this includes: Financial Crimes Office for EMEA (FCOE) / Risk Assessment Team
Main Responsibilities:
- Specifically, you will be accountable and responsible for taking appropriate action with respect to the Company, GFCD, FCOE, and the EMEA Training Team, including:
- Responsible for facilitating AML, Sanctions and ABC risk assessments across the Bank for the EMEA region in order to enable the Group to understand its Inherent Risks and Control Environment Effectiveness.
- Responsible for designing, implementing and executing AML, Sanctions and ABC risk assessments across MUFG Securities globally in order to enable the Group to understand its Inherent Risks and Control Environment Effectiveness.
- Responsibility and oversight for supporting key stakeholders in regional branches and global offices with completion of global risk assessments and local regulatory risk assessments.
- Authority and responsibility to build an expert level knowledge of MUFGs Risk Assessment Standards and act as a key point of contact in the region and globally for all Risk Assessment related queries.
- Responsible for facilitating the identification of risk coverage gaps to drive necessary process enhancements across risk assessments.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining Risk Assessment methodologies that meet the minimum standards for the Group, and contributing to training, guidance and direction on the implementation of the methodologies.
- Responsible for configuring customer and transactional data in order to understand the Inherent Risk of the business.
- Responsible for undertaking report writing and preparing heatmaps and graphics to document the overall Residual Risk of the business and the factors which influence the ratings.
- Responsible for cascading the Group Risk Appetite Statement to the stakeholders across Bank and Securities, as well as tracking adherence against key metrics.
- Responsible for liaising and coordinating with Testing, Audit, Training and Issues Management, among others.
- Responsible for responding to audit or regulatory requests/issues around risk assessments.
- Assisting with Operational Risk matters, including but not limited to, risk and control self- assessments Key Indicators and OpenPages.

- Maintain and enhance good working relationships with stakeholders, across the region and globally to share best practices, provide support and develop effective local policies and procedures appropriate to the Company, and working in support of the One MUFG and overall Group strategy.
Education & professional qualifications
- Bachelors degree or above
Experience
- Overall experience of 5-8 years
Managing Conflicts of Interest
- You will have responsibilities for both Bank and Securities
- You will be required to perform your duties and responsibilities on an entity neutral basis, without favour
- You are required to follow regulatory requirements applicable to ensure each business is appropriately supported and to maintain the legal entity integrity of each of Bank and Securities.
- Working terms are dictated by functional mandates, the terms of the Dual-Hat Arrangement
- Agreement in place between Bank and Securities and any other relevant agreements entered into between Bank and Securities.
- You have responsibility for identifying and resolving where there may be a difference or conflict in needs between Bank and Securities, escalating to your manager where required.
