How will I help?As a Data Analyst in our Business Lending team, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and deploying significant improvements through Analytics practices. By structuring data to develop insights, you’ll enable the business to solve problems and guide strategic direction.Key responsibilities

  • Design and present complex data visualizations and intuitive graphics for a non-technical audience. Manage a backlog to build data capability aligned with strategic goals.
  • Understand data needs, create collection plans, and implement them to validate business problems.
  • Gather and translate data into structured, reusable insights for the team and business.
  • Continuously improve data logic, structure, and visualizations to support project delivery across platforms.
  • Share knowledge and information within internal and external networks to boost performance and productivity.

  • Tertiary or post graduate qualification in a computing/mathematical/finance discipline
  • Proficient in Analytical frameworks and tools (R or Python desirable) with demonstrated experience
  • Proficient in Teradata SQL, demonstrated experience working within Teradata Datawarehouse environments.
  • Proficient in Teradata ETL systems (BTEQ, MLOAD, TPump, Viewpoint)
  • Proven experience translating business question(s) into Analytical tasks.
  • Experience developing data solutions in data warehouses or big data platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to use Statistical Analysis to solve business problems.
  • Proficiency in translating and analysing large data sets
  • General knowledge of Visualisation tools, preferably Tableau.
  • Lean Six Sigma awareness.
  • Highly proficient in using MS suite.
