  • Contribute to accurate and timely forecasting activity across the Generation & Development business through collaborating with stakeholders to align projections with business performance and goals and developing (as required)/reviewing models for accuracy and relevance
  • Evaluate and monitor investments/initiatives to ensure returns are aligned with forecasts and expectations, supporting decision-making with data-backed insights
  • Contribute to monthly management reporting to provide insight into business performance
  • Preparation of monthly invoices in line with Power Purchase Agreements
  • Drive process improvements across the finance function, embracing new tools like Oracle PBF and Power BI for enhanced data visualisation and reporting.

Your experience

  • Relevant qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Business, Economics, or Mathematics. Professional memberships (e.g., CPA, CFA) would be complementary
  • Highly organised self-starter capable of managing multiple competing priorities and projects, including handling ad hoc requests
  • Excellent computers skills, using multiple software (Power BI an advantage) and advanced MS Excel skills, with an ability to manipulate and work with large data sets
  • Strong attention to detail, demonstrating analytical and critical thinking capabilities that drive quality decision making as well as process improvements
  • Solid analytical experience, ideally in energy or capital-intensive industries, with robust financial modelling skills coupled with ability to communicate and present insights in a concise manner to senior stakeholders
