• Support the compilation of the flash reports on the income statement submissions and related analysis and commentary on UK GAAP basis

• Assist with the data preparation and reconciliations to support the UK GAAP and IFRS Income Statement Tagetik submissions

• Analysis of data and prepare preliminary documentation before handover of the income statement to the Reporting Analysis team

• Generate inputs to support the analysis of profit load into Tagetik and ensuring that its consistent with the Income Statement and disclosures

• Support in the preparation and completion of the quarterly and annual Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRTs) – including technical provisions for Solvency II and prepare data inputs for Solvency & Financial Condition Report

• Support the production of the Solvency II Capital Generation for M&G

• Run Tagetik validation reports to identify validation errors and support the error resolution through engagement with the balance sheet accountants

• Assist with the evidence gathering for audit responses to resolve audit queries in a timely and accurate manner

• Ad hoc tasks and participation in ad hoc projects to support continuous improvement and process enhancement

Knowledge & Skills:

• Data manipulation, enhancements and analysis skills

• High analytical skills and attention to detail to identify trends and discrepancies • Competency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis

• Willingness to collaborate with other team members and open to learning

• Knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP (advantageous)

• Knowledge of regulatory Solvency II is advantageous

Experience:

• Previous working experience with a consolidation tool (advantageous)

• Experience with data analysis tools (Power Bi experience is beneficial)

• Experience in the insurance industry and insurance financial reporting processes (advantageous)

Educational Qualification:

• Accounting / Actuarial science graduate
