Councils have obligations to deliver these projects under legislation, but with many changes coming to local government, it is critical that throughout this, Council’s strategic direction is clear and incorporated into all of our plans.We are seeking two capable project managers, who can think on their feet, understand local government, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Both roles will need to have exceptional communication skills, be confident in presenting to a diverse range of audiences and be highly organised.You’ll join a passionate and supportive team of policy professionals who are passionate about the communities they serve.Senior Advisor – Long-term Plan | Kaitohutohu Matua – Te Māhere RoaOversee and manage the development of Porirua City’s Long-term Plan, bring your project management expertise to ensure alignment between our strategic direction and decision making.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mixture of big-picture strategic thinking and detailed multi-stakeholder programme delivery.Senior Advisor – Annual Reporting | Kaitohutohu Matua – Pūrongo ā-TauOversee and manage the development of Porirua City’s statutory planning processes including the Annual Plan, Annual Report and performance reporting.This role is ideal for someone who is detail orientated with experience in multi-stakeholder programme delivery.What You’ll Do
