In this role, you will partner with leaders, play a key role in the HR team and use your expertise and relationship management skills to build trust and ensure our work meets the needs of the organisation.As a small team, we also need your generalist HR skills to strengthen our HR processes and workflow, lead specific HR initiatives and simply muck in as needed.In this role, you will lead HR activities in the work programme in areas such as policy development, remuneration framework, collective bargaining preparation and implementation, and wellbeing support, and providing day-to-day support and guidance to the wider HR team.We see this role being key to establishing the kind of culture we are seeking for Crown Law and modernising our delivery approach. So, if you’re looking for an opportunity in a small agency to build breadth and gain some leadership experience, this is for you!We are looking for a skilled generalist HR practitioner who is pragmatic, supportive, highly customer focussed and able to:

  • Partner with leaders across Crown Law to build trust and provide expert HR advice
  • Provide back up and support to the HR Manager, including formally acting at times
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to our HR team
  • Provide employment relationship advice and support
  • Partner with HR’s Culture and Capability and Payroll teams to ensure our work is well integrated and fits the needs of our people and leaders.

  • A starting salary range of between $110,779 and $137,329 with further room to progress. The appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
