The role | Te tūngaAs Senior Advisor – Group Planning and Reporting you will be working closely with the various corporate teams across the organisation and technical leaders across Insights & Statistics to ensure that the Insights & Statistics group supports the various organisational business planning, risk assurance and performance processes and external reporting. Your role will include coaching and mentoring more junior staff within the team and building planning and reporting capability across the Insights & Statistics group.This role would suit someone who can bring:

  • Experience in strategic and business planning and performance monitoring in a medium to large organisation.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching and leading through influence.
  • Experience in developing and leading a work programme
  • A positive, proactive attitude and growth mindset
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
  • Demonstrate a willingness to upskill and increase your cultural capability.
  • Understanding of the machinery of government and related processes and procedures.
  • Have familiarity with, or a commitment to learn and understand, Te Tiriti, Tikanga, Te Ao and Te Reo Māori.
  • Demonstrated or encouraged diversity and inclusion in and/or outside of work.
