In this Finance role, you will help deliver our financial statements and help the R&D organization gain transparency which is needed to make profound investment decisions.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for the period-end closing and reporting in accordance with laws and Novartis required standardsMonth end closing tasks including (not limited to): Accruals, provisions, FCRS reporting (preparations and review); balance sheet account reconciliations: ensure timely resolution and clean-up of action items identified; Health Authority mandated post approval capitalizations; FRA SPOC for IC Reimbursement invoices; accounting and reporting for exceptional itemsEnsure compliance with Novartis Accounting Manual (NAM), Novartis Financial Controls Manual (NFCM) and regulatory requirements and implementation in internal guidelines.What you’ll bring to the role:University level degree in Finance or Chartered AccountantStrong professional experience in Finance in a similar role.Strong SAP knowledge and profound Excel skillsProven ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organizationProficiency in English (written and spoken), German is an advantageWhy Novartis?
