As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all of the group’s accounting activities. You will work closely with the management team to ensure effective and accurate financial management of the business.Your primary responsibilities include:– Ensure the coordination of the monthly closing process and the production of financial statements.
– Direct, control and evaluate the operations of the finance and accounting department.
– Prepare various financial reports for management and develop procedures with the goal of improving the profitability of the company.
– Maintain a rigorous internal control framework that promotes the production of reliable financial data to support the production of various reports.
– Provide management and shareholders with accurate information to enable informed decisions by producing comprehensive analyses.
– Prepare the annual and monthly budget with the management and with a goal of improving profitability
– Support the establishment and validation of cost prices in collaboration with the Director of Operations and improve the methods.
– Contribute to the analysis of investment projects and their financing.
– Act as a financial consultant on complex projects or initiatives that may have an impact on the accounting of the company’s expenses.Qualifications
– CPA designation, a considerable asset
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
– Ability to take initiative
– Unlimited commitment to continuous improvement.
– Bilingual French and English, oral and written
– Strong work ethic and great attention to detail
