Job description: About the Opportunity

• Perform month-end closing procedures
• Research and correct any out-of-balance situations between the GL and sub-ledger
• Analyze, amortize, and reconcile prepaid accounts
• Prepare assigned journal entries o Prepare assigned general ledger reconciliations
• Review general ledger reconciliations prepared by others o Prepare monthly commissions.
• Report the weekly AR Aging
• Prepare and report the monthly recurring revenue
• Prepare and report customer churn
• Support financial processes such as bank entries for multiple accounts, reconciliations of inter-company transactions, weekly cheques and wire transfers and approvals, monthly GST & HST filing, daily credit card transactions schedule update
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis of financial data as needed
• Provide credit check on new accounts and update customer
• Ensure the accuracy of subscription billing to customers
• Oversee the rates, billing, payments, and reconciliations
• Oversee the parcel billing, payments, and reconciliations o Review and approve AP payments
• Review and release wire/ACH payments
• Oversee Account Receivables and related activities
• Evaluate policies and procedures annually to ensure that they are relevant o Identify and implement technology, automation, and outsourcing opportunities to drive efficiency

About You

• An undergraduate university degree focus on Business/Accounting
• Enrolled in CPA program, or actively working towards CPA
• 3-5 years related work experience
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, ERP experience

Pay Range
