Job description: The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the accounting team by assisting with fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, financial report analysis, account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and other core competencies and duties.The salary for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience.What You Will Be Doing

• Reviews and analyzes financial reports monthly, providing insights on variances and trends.
• Prepares accurate and timely account reconciliations during the month-end closing process.
• Reconciles all fixed asset sub-ledger accounts to the general ledger.
• Maintains fixed asset roll forward schedules, including required intercompany eliminations.
• Reviews and reconciles all construction-in-progress projects.
• Records disposals and reconciles gain/loss for disposed assets.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or other related experience in lieu.
• 3 – 6 years of relevant experience in public and/or corporate accounting.
• CPA desired.
• Proficient communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are vital to the role.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and applications.
