About the roleThe position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders.Duties include but are not limited to:Maintain focus and observe the activities associated with asset protection (client site)Ensure that with knowledge of the client site and requirements and any out of the ordinary events are identified and actionedEnsure only authorised persons are on site, and use computerised access control systems as requiredReading, understanding and signing off on specific site requirementsMaintain logs and records of occurrences, complete necessary paperwork as requiredProvide information, directions and other information as required, to clients/customers, in person, or over the telephoneSkills & experienceCertificate II in Security OperationsSecurity LicencePrevious experience in a customer facing roleExperience in security operations (ideal, but not necessary)Positive attitude, great communication skills, willingness to learn and adaptAustralian Citizenship required; PV clearance (or the ability to obtain)Australian Defence force experience is desirableVeterans are encouraged to apply.If you are interested in joining the security industry but do not hold a qualification or licence, please take the time to consider our Scholarship Program.
