About the roleWe are looking for Foot Patrol Officers to work at Homes Victoria in Emerald Hill. Duties include but are not limited to:Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other personsPatrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gatesRespond to alarms and investigate disturbancesProvide assistance to residents and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain order.Conduct regular inspections and write reports to ensure security and safety equipment is functioning properly.Skills & experienceDemonstrated ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently and prior experience working in a challenging environmentCertificate II in Security OperationsWorking with children check (or willing to apply for one)Valid Security Licence and First Aid and CPRFull Australian working rightsStrong understanding of security protocols and procedures.Excellent observational and surveillance skills.Ability to operate security equipment and systems.Good communication skills and the ability to report incidents clearly and accurately.Physical stamina and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.How to applyMSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
