The Security Enabling Services Branch is responsible for broader security functions to support the business of DPS and APH security arrangements, engaging with many different APH security stakeholders, including the AFP, the Department of the House of Representatives, the Department of the Senate, the Ministerial Wing Support and other entities within the Parliamentary precincts.The role is required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and supervisors to ensure that all work is undertaken in a professional and timely manner. Reporting to the Assistant Director Physical Security, this role has primary responsibility for the implementation of APH and DPS physical security policies and procedures, including working collaboratively with DPS line areas, including other Security Branch Sections and key APH stakeholders in the delivery of physical security business as usual responsibilities, projects, and initiatives.Who we are looking forAn ideal candidate would be self-motivated, collaborative and innovative.
