Job description: East Beechboro Primary School (PS) is a highly respected Independent Public School in the City of Swan, catering for the educational needs of approximately 400 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. You should ideally be a professional, friendly, and caring team member, and as part of the Corporate Services team should continue to foster this culture.Find out more about our school by visiting orThe RoleThe successful applicant should exhibit interpersonal skills with the ability to efficiently meet deadlines, working autonomously or with other school support staff. The School Officer will ideally excel in the provision of general clerical and administrative tasks, displaying attention to detail in the accurate maintenance of school databases and the preparation of correspondence, newsletters, notices and other materials. The successful applicant will undertake front office duties, assist visitor queries and support the Manager Corporate Services with induction and training of school support staff and recruitment processes. In addition, they should be proficient at operating and maintaining office equipment, including monitoring and ordering office consumables. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is highly regarded, and experience in the Department of Education (DOE) software systems and software packages is highly desirable, including HRMIS (Human Resource Management Information System), Integris, RM Finance, RM Billing and Asset Manager.This role requires applicants that ideally possess strong organisational skills in delivering and prioritising tasks when under pressure. As a team player, you should possess good verbal and written communication and be able to liaise with staff, students, families and visitors. As the first point of contact for staff, students, and visitors to our school, you should be friendly, confident, articulate, organised, and approachable.
