Job description: Our Calgary based client is seeking an experienced SAP SCM – MM/IM Advisory Specialist contractor with strong knowledge of Procure to Pay for Capital Stock Management, Group Reporting, and Financial Reporting to join their short term project starting immediately with possibility for extension. This will be a remote work setting allowing candidates to be based anywhere in North America.

• Focus on understanding capital stock procurement, ingestion, maintenance, and financial implications.
• Advisory role to help with engagement workshops.
• Basic flow of interest.
• Procure to pay for capital stock.
• How ingest into project stock or inventory.
• Return to stock if not used.
• Financial implications throughout.
• Expertise in procurement, ingestion, maintenance, and financial implications.
• Understanding of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) context.
• Knowledge of cash effects, group reporting, and entity transfers.
• Experience in capital-intensive industries (e.g., oil & gas, mining) is an ASSET but NOT mandatory.
• Ability to map out processes and provide strategic recommendations.
• Capital stock management crucial in multiple countries (France, Netherlands, Eastern Europe, Germany).
• Project aims to optimize global supply chain function and financial reporting.
• Any SAP Plant Maintenance experience would be helpful.
