Statutory and Tax Reporting: Assist the R2R Business Process Owner in developing and executing processes that fulfill statutory and tax filing requirements (e.g., VAT, corporate tax), while leveraging the reporting features of S/4HANA
Process Design and Implementation: Collaborate with the Finance Business Process Owner to articulate and refine detailed financial processes related to general ledger management, financial close, consolidation, and reporting within the S/4HANA framework
Data Conversion and Migration: Work closely with the finance team to design and implement data migration plans, ensuring the accurate transfer of financial data (e.g., chart of accounts, trial balances) into S/4HANA
Training, Testing, and Cutover Support: Develop training materials, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and contribute to planning for a seamless transition to S/4HANA’s R2R processes
Process Optimization: Utilize S/4HANA and related financial technologies such as Blackline to enhance R2R workflows and improve transparency in financial operations
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the bridge between finance teams and the S/4 program, addressing process discrepancies and ensuring alignment with business needs
Regulatory Compliance and Standardization: Ensure R2R processes adhere to applicable accounting standards and regulations, including US GAAP and China GAAP
