This presents an opportunity to strengthen its market position, grow commercially, and refine its operations.As Sales & Operation Planning Manager, you will play a key role in aligning budgets and forecasts with our strategic goals and commercial ambitions.You will be based in the Commercial Management team within the B-t-C Passengers division and work closely with Operations, Finance, Yield Management, segment owners, and have regular interaction with our C-suite.Area of responsiblities

• Drive and coordinate the forecasting and budgeting processes across the Passengers business area.
• Develop and validate business cases to support investments, prioritization, and operational changes.
• Plan and optimize ferry operations in line with commercial targets balancing the sailing schedule against budget and traffic forecasts.
• Support our PMO structure by ensuring initiatives are qualified, prioritized, and executed with strong data foundations.
• Provide ongoing reporting to the C-suite and other key stakeholders.
• Act as a sparring partner across the organization – particularly toward segment management and operations.
• Contribute actively to developing Scandlines’ future commercial steering and market positioning.

Competencies

• Has solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, S&OP processes, and business controlling.
• Is highly proficient in Excel and ideally familiar with Power BI.
• Understands operational business models and the dynamics between capacity, demand, and financial goals.

Personal skills

• Works independently, takes ownership, and thrives in creating results both individually and collaboratively.
• Has project management skills and can drive cross-functional processes.
• Has 5-10 years of relevant experience from transport, logistics, adjacent industrial sectors, or similar.
• Communicates clearly and effectively – in both detailed analyses and high-level business cases.
