- To strictly adhere to the company’s code of conduct in all business dealings.
- To achieve volume and value targets through sales, at specified prices, to the outlets in the salesman’s territory.
- To ensure distribution and implementation of all promotional activities, at the outlet level, as per the company’s plan.
- To ensure product availability and visibility in the listed outlets covered as per the company’s distribution listing and merchandising objectives.
- To ensure regular and effective use of POS material/backup stock.
- To ensure market coverage as per the agreed route plan.
- To explore, identify and develop new customers in the territory.
- To update and keep the finance (collection team) updated on the outstanding from trade on time so as to maintain debtors to sales ratio as per company policy.
- To monitor and analyze the market and report on competitive activities.
- To be responsible and accountable for the company’s assets placed in the outlets by having contracts /agreements duly signed by the customer.
- To ensure stock delivery on time to the concerned outlets.
- Maintain standard and quality of display.
- Follow up on stock re-filling and fresh stocks on the shelves, using FIFO.
- To ensure that stocks in the store have an adequate shelf life and rotation of stock.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, and other related fields.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the FMCG Industry.
- MBA preferred but not mandatory.
