Job description: Sales Estimator / CAD EstimatorFull-time, PermanentLocation: DevizesOffice BasedSalary £35-45k DOEOur client, who operates in the construction/retail sectors, is looking to recruit a Sales Estimator for their team to work on the technical side of the business and support the projects team.Being the Sales Estimator, you will enable our sales team to maximise customer contact time, increasing sales. This role requires strong technical knowledge in estimating within the construction industry or a similar field, as well as proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and CAD software.Responsibilities:

• Perform quantity take-off of manual and CAD drawings to estimate project requirements.
• Complete estimate schedule spreadsheets to ensure accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with clients and architects to clarify project specifications.
• Create CAD drawings for pricing and presentation purposes as needed.
• Liaise with Customer Services and Purchasing departments to ensure a smooth transition from estimate to order stage.
• Progress orders from estimate to Proforma stage.
• Produce CAD drawings for production purposes and customer sign-off.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, architects, designers, main contractors, and sub-contractors.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in estimating within the construction industry or a similar field.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and CAD software is essential.
• Reasonable ability in CAD software.
• Excellent time management skills and knowledge to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated experience working with up-market wealthy clients and handling demanding clients.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
