Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end management of surgical robotic systems including shipment, installation, calibration, and maintenance the systems at hospital sites across the UK.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance during system setup and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to relay technical insights from the field.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for installation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of robotic systems.
  • Ensure all technical documentation aligns with UK healthcare regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Support compliance audits and provide technical input during regulatory reviews or inspections.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for hospital staff and clinical users during installation and post-sale support.
  • Build strong relationships with clinical, biomedical, and operational teams to ensure system adoption and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to support product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical evaluations.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks / projects assigned.

Job RequirementsBasic requirements

  • Bachelor or above in Biomedical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Understanding of UK and international clinical research regulations and medical device compliance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a proactive mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English & Chinese.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.

Preferred requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in technical roles, preferably in MedTech, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Hands-on experience supporting clinical studies or market entry strategies.
  • Exposure to UK NHS pathways, hospital networks, or healthcare procurement.
  • Prior involvement in market research or business analysis in a healthcare context.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, design tools (e.g., Canva), or data collection tools.
