Driving the effective growth of the company’s market share and profitability within the market segment known as Strategic Accounts. This role would see you develop strategic business plans, territory management plans, account and opportunity plans along with implementing tailored sales programs. This complimented by leading and developing sales teams comprised of relationship managers as we’ve a core focus on developing our people to be outstanding.To be successful in this opportunity you will be able to showcase tried leadership abilities that enable you to integrate the functions of your team to derive maximum value and growth for Optus Enterprise & Business. Further to the above is the responsibility to ensure communication and relationships with Sales Consultants, Service Management, Consulting Architects, Sales Specialists and other requisite resources are accurately coordinate with the sales teams.This role will primarily focus on acquisition and accelerated growth of existing accounts, and execution on larger strategic opportunities within existing accounts where significant opportunities arise. Additionally, the role has primary accountability for Customer Satisfaction, shared with the Service Management team.Your day in the life at OptusTaking ownership of a portfolio of Mid-Market customers to ensure their ICT service requirements are met whilst implementing plans to grow customer revenue by selling additional services into those enterprise customers.Driving forward the retention and growth of new customers and transition into existing customer Account Management portfolio through the development, implementation and maximisation of sales opportunities.Manage a team of 10 Relationship Managers and ensure effective territory planning, account allocation and partner plans in place to achieve their individual targets.The development and implementation of agreed process and methodologies in relation to the Optus Enterprise Customer Strategy.Your skills to pay the billsDeep breadth of relationship sales management experience within the IT or Telecommunications background with at several years at a leadership level.Validated sales track record in achieving growth through acquisition strategies, sales teams and customer loyalty in the relationship-based market segments.A background of identifying, developing and maintaining profitable long-term customer and partner relationships; works efficiently within internal and external business partners to meet customer requirements and reinforce customer focus.You apply sound commercial judgement in all decision-making and managerial activities, leading to organisational growth and value creation; ensures efficiency, profitability, performance and competitive advantages of area under management.Perks we love at Optus3 days in the office, 2 days remote – with flexible hours to suit.Executive sales level salary & benefits package.Inclusive paid parental leave, up to 14 weeks for the primary care giver.Keen to see what it’s really like to work at Optus?
