Job description: JSK PACKAGING PTY LTD The Sales and Procurement Analyst plays a vital role in managing supplier coordination, procurement data, and sales insights to support strategic objectives. This includes evaluating vendor performance, optimizing cost structures, forecasting demand, and analysing sales trends. The position provides critical support to the executive team for effective planning and organizational decision-making. This role is analytical, strategic, and organizational in nature – it does not involve physical handling of goods, warehouse operations, import/export logistics, or wholesale trading activities. REPORTING TO The position reports to the Chief Operations Officer. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration • At least 3 years of experience in a non-logistics-based procurement and/or sales data analysis role • Strong proficiency in procurement systems, CRM, ERP, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel) • Proven ability to interpret procurement and sales data, drive process efficiency, and enhance strategic decisions • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills • Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated problem-solving ability • Ability to work in a collaborative, high-volume business environment DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Designing and managing procurement strategies focused on price optimisation, risk mitigation, and vendor alignment with organisational objectives • Preparing purchasing reports, analysing contract metrics, and supporting commercial negotiations through data insights • Evaluating supplier quotations and comparing value metrics to support stakeholder decision-making • Developing policies for vendor prequalification, onboarding, and ongoing performance assessment • Maintaining supplier scorecards, tracking service levels, and reporting gaps to relevant internal teams (excluding warehousing) • Forecasting product demand based on historical sales trends, seasonality, and client patterns – not physical inventory data • Analysing product category performance to identify underperforming areas and recommend procurement/sales strategies • Preparing periodic dashboards and visual reports on procurement cost trends, vendor performance, and sales KPIs • Supporting budgeting and revenue planning through statistical modelling and procurement forecasting • Collaborating with the sales, finance, and executive teams to align procurement activities with business plans • Recommending process improvements in data flow, supplier communications, and internal approvals • Tracking pricing competitiveness and supporting category-level analysis of supplier contracts and volume metrics • Assisting in the development of strategic sourcing pipelines and procurement automation initiatives WORKING HOURS • Full-time position, 38 hours per week.
