Job description: Responsibilities: * Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with local regulations and company standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
• Develop and conduct safety training programs for employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
• Monitor and track safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with Registered Safety Officer and all stakeholders to address safety concerns and implement corrective measures.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:Education:

• Complete the certificate of safety supervisor with at least 2 years of experience post-professional certification.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a safety supervisory role within the construction or E&M industry.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing safety programs and protocols.
• Proven track record of conducting safety training and promoting a safety culture.
• Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and report preparation.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong safety regulations and standards related to the construction industry.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees and stakeholders.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements:

• Valid Safety Supervisor certification recognized in Hong Kong.
• Valid driving license
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to various project sites as needed.
