Share in the successes and rewards that we’ll build as a team.How you will make an impact:This role supports the Safety Manager in maintaining a safe construction site by conducting inspections, ensuring safety compliance, rectifying unsafe situations, investigating incidents, promoting safety awareness, and carrying out other duties. The ideal candidate has a relevant safety qualification, at least 5 years of construction experience, proficiency in PC applications and strong communication skills, with a self-motivated and proactive approach.

  • Support the Safety Manager’s daily works to conduct on site physical inspection and monitor implementation of the safety plan and the safety management system of contractors.
  • Actively participate in safety/site meetings and site safety walks, identify safety findings and provide recommendations to the contractor and site management staff to minimize the risk of accidents.
  • Proficient in closely monitoring site safety issues, identifying unsafe or non-compliant behaviours, and offering prompt corrective suggestions. Check to ensure all unsafe situations are promptly rectified.
  • Investigate and record all near miss, incident and accidents cases and prepare the reports.
  • Assist in health & safety promotion and enhance safety awareness within the site.
  • Share latest safety news or statutory requirement in safety/site meeting, introduce the relevant safety measures to contractor and site management staff to enhance the safety performance on site.
  • Carry out any ad hoc inspections, attend relevant meetings, and conduct any duties assigned by the Safety Manager.

What we are looking for:

  • Diploma/ Degree holder or above in Science/ Engineering/ Safety or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years of site safety experience, specializing in building projects
  • A Registered Safety Officer under F&lU Regulations with no less than 3 years of post-qualification experience in construction site
  • Working experience in Client/Developer is highly preferred
  • Proficient in PC applications including MS office and English & Chinese Word Processing
  • Self-motivated, initiative and with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English & Chinese written skills
